In the building or out town!

  1. AltiGen says, would you like the system to find this person for you?
  2. If they choose yes, AltiGen calls up to 4 phone numbers while keeping the caller informed of the call progress.
  3. If answered, AltiGen asks for a password whereby it completes the call.
  4. If no answer or the password is not obtained or, anytime the caller chooses, they can leave a message, select another extension or ring the operator.
  5. Incomplete calls are handled professionally and don't go to home or other off site answering systems.
  6. Each extension can be configured to allow this access and select who can use it and when.

AltiGen's personal call queue / “Power Hold” 

  1. Can often take the place of the receptionist informing the caller of their party's busy status and promptly ringing calls through when available.
  2. Give caller the choice to wait, leave a message, go to another extension or ring the operator.
  3. If the caller chooses to wait, they are regularly apprised of their status and options.
  4. Music or informative messages can be played while holding.
  5. The called party can see whose calling with caller id, and handle the call accordingly including taking the call, sending it to voice mail or to another extension.
  6. The receptionist or another person can also see the holding party and take the call if considered appropriate.
